China hosted an International Youth Conference “Meeting in Zibo”, attended by youth from more than 20 countries, including a delegation from the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan.
The event, which provided a unique platform for exchanging experiences and ideas between young leaders from different countries, strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation, was attended by representatives of various fields, including education, science, culture, and business.

Director of the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan Kabuljon Sabirov greeted the participants. In his address, he emphasized that supporting young people and creating conditions for their active participation in international projects is one of the key priorities of the Center. He also noted the importance of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to implement the “SCO – a space of creative ideas and youth initiatives” program, aimed at expanding interaction between young people, stimulating their creativity, and developing leadership qualities.

The pressing issues and challenges young people face in the modern world were discussed, and solutions were proposed.

In particular, it was proposed to create a community of common schools to strengthen interaction and cooperation. It is planned to organize an online workshop with the participation of young entrepreneurs working in national cultural heritage. This aims to exchange experiences and ideas on preserving and promoting cultural heritage through business activities. Participants will discuss various aspects of project management, financing, marketing, and product and service promotion.

In addition, the conference participants also proposed developing a media exchange program on innovative solutions “Youth for Sustainable Development”.

This project involves creating videos about new approaches to solving global problems, which will be translated into various languages for maximum accessibility and dissemination of ideas around the world.
