On February 10, an Agreement between Uzbekistan and Spain on cooperation in the fight against crime, signed on November 5, 2013, in the city of Madrid, entered into force.

According to the Treaty-Law Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the document is aimed at regulating cooperation in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, human trafficking, illegal migration, drug and arms trafficking, economic and information technology crimes, corruption and other types of crimes.
