The tournament, held at Tashkent International Chess Academy on 14-20 April this year, was attended by 164 chess players from 13 countries. The prize fund amounted to $20 thousand.

The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the tournament took place. The first place went to Alisher Suleimenov from Kazakhstan. He scored 7 points out of 9 possible. The next places went to Platon Galperin from Ukraine and Vugar Rasulov from Azerbaijan.

Among women, the first place was taken by Nilufar Yoqubboyeva.

Such talented chess players as Umida Omonova, Muhammadzohid Suyarov, Olmos Rakhmatullayev, Vladimir Egin, Khumoyun Bekmuratov are among the winners.

The winners received cash rewards, certificates and medals.
