The International Student of the Year award ceremony was held at the Youth Creativity Palace in Tashkent.

The award is presented to students from Uzbekistan studying at the world’s leading universities who have demonstrated their academic, social, and professional achievements. The award was established by the International Union of Uzbekistan Students, with support from the Youth Affairs Agency and the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation.

Awards were presented in the nominations “Student of the Year”, “Contribution to the development of society and diaspora”, “Worthy representation of Uzbekistan in the international arena”, and “Innovation of the Year”.

As noted at the event, this initiative supports Uzbekistan youth studying abroad and enhances their participation in the country’s development.
