International roundtable discussion on judicial and legal issues
Tashkent State University of Law hosted international roundtable discussion on “Current issues of civil procedural law”.
Members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specialists of the Ministry of Justice, judges of the Supreme Court, representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office, research institutions in the legislative sphere, Chambers of Lawyers, teachers and students of a number of higher education institutions of the country are taking part in the international roundtable discussion on “Current issues of civil procedural law”, at Tashkent State University of Law.
Experts from Germany, China, Russia, Japan, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are among the participants of the event.

At the first session of the roundtable, attention was paid to activities of the courts, such as simplifying civil proceedings, increasing the level of trust in courts in society, increasing openness and transparency of information aimed at switching to innovative forms of dialogue with people.

At the event, views were exchanged on further reducing the burden in the courts, resolving certain cases by the competent authorities, paying attention to alternative forms of resolving disputes, creating administrative courts, and dispute resolution in economic and civil courts.
