International observers’ participation in political processes creates an atmosphere of transparency.

The long-term international observers of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Valdemar Uruba (Czech Republic) and Kristina Bogdanova (Russia), who arrived in Uzbekistan to observe the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and local Councils of People’s Deputies, visited the Khorezm Regional Territorial Election Commission.

The Commission’s Chairman Zafar Karimov informed guests about the preparations for the elections and activities of the regional polling stations.
