Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law Christophe Bernasconi and Member of the European Parliament Ryszard Czarnecki, who arrived in Uzbekistan as observers of the Presidential elections of Uzbekistan, visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The issue of further development of Uzbekistan's cooperation with European countries was discussed at the meeting. Views were exchanged on the Presidential elections held in Uzbekistan. As it was noted, Uzbekistan has outlined new frontiers and the foundation was laid at the last elections.

Dr. Christophe Bernasconi and MEP Ryszard Czarnecki were awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
