Tashkent hosts the Fifth International Management Forum titled “The Era of the 30-Year-Olds”, which was held at the IT Park Uzbekistan Congress Center in Tashkent.
The international forum brought together representatives of government agencies, the private sector, international experts, and young professionals on a single platform, serving as an essential venue for exchanging views and developing approaches to advancing human capital amid digital transformation.
During the presentations, special attention was paid to strengthening the role of youth in the country’s socio-economic development, improving the education system, developing digital competencies, and effectively using artificial intelligence technologies to benefit the economy and society. It was emphasized that, at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, 2026 has been declared the Year of Mahalla Development and Social Prosperity, reflecting a strategic course toward socio-economic support for mahallas and expanding youth participation in public life.
In this context, the forum served as a significant platform for dialogue to strengthen the active role of young people in society, develop the digital economy, support entrepreneurial initiatives, and promote the principles of responsible business. The main objective of the event is to provide comprehensive support for youth in building a New Uzbekistan and to establish an open and systematic dialogue with the younger generation.
Within the forum, it was noted that education and modern skills are key to enhancing youth competitiveness. In particular, knowledge in digital technologies and artificial intelligence was identified as one of the most in-demand areas in the labor market. It was emphasized that developing digital skills, adopting artificial intelligence technologies, and exporting information technology services play an essential role in modernizing the economic structure and ensuring its sustainable growth.
“The main idea of this event is aimed at fostering a culture of independent thinking, responsible decision-making, and awareness of civic responsibility among the younger generation. Social relations formed within the family, the mahalla, and the workplace will, in the long term, directly affect young people’s civic stance. In addition, the forum was organized as a platform that promotes the development of a modern corporate culture and strengthens mutual trust between employers and young professionals”, said Timur Yadgarov, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Management Forum.
As part of the forum, winners of the international competitions “Happiness at Work”, “Best HR Director”, and “Best Employer for Young Professionals” were also awarded.
