The 13th International Legal Forum of Asia-Pacific Countries took place in Saint Petersburg.

A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Bahtiyor Islamov, Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, participated in the forum.

The discussions focused on current issues related to the judicial protection of participants in international economic activity in tax matters, as well as the consideration of customs disputes by the courts.

Delegates shared national experiences in the application of competition protection legislation by the courts. An exchange of views also took place on the unification of judicial practice in the field of industrial property.

Forum participants became acquainted with the experience of Uzbekistan courts in applying antimonopoly legislation and the practice of judicial protection of rights to trademarks and service marks.
