An International Gastronomic Festival is being held in Samarkand by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the regional Hokimiyat. It is attended by skilled chefs from Russia, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries, as well as chefs from each region of Uzbekistan, catering enterprises serving foreign tourists.

The event is aimed at increasing the flow of tourists through the widespread promotion of the country's gastronomic potential, development of international cooperation in this area and popularization of national culinary traditions.

The dishes prepared at the festival will be evaluated by international culinary judges. 

The festival’s program includes master classes by famous chefs from around the world.
