The International Forum of Central Asian Educators has opened in Nukus under the motto “Educators of Central Asia – One Region, One Voice, One Strength”.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with UNESCO and UNICEF, is attended by senior officials of the education ministries of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, as well as leading educators and education experts from Azerbaijan and Türkiye, representatives of the United Nations, several international organizations, and the University of Cambridge.

Speaking at the event held at the Oq Qush complex in Nukus, Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, emphasized the large-scale reforms carried out in recent years under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, as well as the special attention given to the education sector.
As part of the event, seminars were organized for participants on “Modern Technologies in Environmental Education”. The sessions focused on practical approaches to integrating interactive methods into environmental instruction, as well as utilizing digital platforms to help children develop a conscious and caring attitude toward nature. The latest teaching materials were also presented, including video lessons, mobile applications, and virtual laboratories.

In the practical section of the forum, educators took part in interactive workshops on organizing environmental experiments. It was emphasized that ecological education based on modern technologies not only facilitates knowledge transfer but also fosters responsibility, compassion, and respect for the environment among children.
As part of the forum, participants will also enjoy excursions to the attractions of the Aral Sea region and a concert program titled “Eternal Friendship”.
