The International Forum of Central Asian Educators is being held in the city of Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of UNESCO and UNICEF. The forum is attended by representatives of the ministries of education of Central Asian countries – Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan – as well as education experts from Azerbaijan and Türkiye, teachers, and members of the wider public.

At the opening ceremony, the heads of education systems of Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries, as well as representatives of international organizations, addressed the participants.

Workshops on “Modern Technologies in Environmental Education” were organized for the participants, providing an opportunity to exchange views on the introduction of interactive methods in environmental education and to discuss practical approaches to fostering environmental awareness among children through digital platforms.

As part of the forum, participants visited the I.V. Savitsky State Museum of Art of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Berdakh Karakalpak State Academic Musical Theater. Additionally, ecological and ethnocultural events were held at the Qora Teran tourist center in Takhtakupyr district.
Ethnocultural programs based on traditional Karakalpak customs were also presented. Guests had the opportunity to discover the region’s rich cultural heritage through national songs, dances, and a folk crafts exhibition.
