The awarding ceremony of winners of the Sixtieth International Flower Festival took place in the Valley of Legends, in Namangan.

The main events of the festival, including flower exhibitions, various cultural, educational and entertainment programs, were held in Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur Culture and Recreation Park. Tourists from almost thirty countries visited the festival.

At the festival, the Hokimiyat of Pap district became the winner among city and district hokimiyats, the main construction department of the region – among organizations and agencies, the regional department of the National Guard – in the nomination “The best car decorated with flowers at the auto parade”, professional florist Obidkhon Kodirov – in the nomination “The best designer florist”. All of them were awarded “Nexia-3” cars.

Winners in the nominations “The best ancient dynasty of flower growers”, “The best young flower grower”, “The best flower arrangement”, “The best school of floriculture”, “The florist who grew the most flowers” received cash awards in the amount of 20 and 15 million UZS.

The event was attended by the Minister of Culture, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov, the Hokim of Namangan region, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Shavkat Abdurazakov.
