The Foundation for the Development of Culture and Arts under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Grace architectural bureau (Milan) are developing a strategy and a roadmap for the preservation and adaptation of objects of modernist architecture in Tashkent.

The team consists of experts in the restoration of modernist monuments, historians of architecture and culture, as well as urbanists.

Members of the main team are the Polytechnic University of Milan, Laboratorio Permanente bureau, architectural historian Boris Chukhovich. Their task is to lead and coordinate research and project work.

The work will be carried out based on the research and study of international experience in the preservation of the architecture of the twentieth century.
