The cooperation of the State Customs Committee with leading countries of the world, including reputable international institutions, in implementing advanced foreign experience has reached a new level.

At the Faculty for Retraining and Advanced Training of the Customs Institute of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a training workshop was held on “Advanced foreign experience in the customs value” with an international expert from the World Bank. The classes focused on determining the customs value of imported goods, problems arising in this process, their elimination, and risk profiles used to control customs value.

The international expert made presentations on such topics as “Methodology for determining customs value”, “Preliminary decision on customs value”, and “Risk profiles in customs value control”. Detailed information was also given about Uzbekistan’s experience in determining the customs value of goods. The international expert highly appreciated activities implemented in this direction.

An agreement was reached on regularly organizing such events and further improving the customs value module in the Risk Management system.
