The Faculty of Executive Education of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, jointly with AXELCIUM Consulting Company conducted an educational program entitled “Public-Private Partnership (PPP): Successful examples from international practice”.

First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sodiq Safoyev congratulated the participants on completing the courses.

“The program has been implemented in the light of the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on attracting private investment in areas under the jurisdiction of the state, such as energy, infrastructure, transport, education, medicine, tourism, ecology, and other industries. Implementing public-private partnership projects based on the study of international experience in these areas is an important task”, Sodiq Safoyev said.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Aurelia Bouchez noted the high efficiency of attracting investments on PPP terms and wished success in implementing educational projects in this direction.

To date, more than 40 heads and specialists of ministries, agencies, and administrations of Uzbekistan's regions involved in implementing and realizing public-private partnership projects have been trained.

With the assistance of specialists of AXELCIUM Consulting Company, specializing in PPP and having experience in implementing more than 130 such projects in 35 countries, the program familiarized with the principles of public-private partnership and conditions for their implementation using examples from foreign practice.

The participants of the educational program were awarded certificates of international standard.
