The International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace is celebrated on April 24.

The Senate hosted the workshop “People’s Diplomacy – the way to world peace”.

Senators, teachers, and students of the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy attended the event.

The importance of dialogue as the main means of conflict resolution was emphasized at the event. The participants noted that the refusal to negotiate and the desire to resolve conflict situations by force are fraught with serious negative consequences.

The students proposed several important initiatives and proposals to further develop cooperation and strengthen youth diplomacy.
