July 30 – International Day of Friendship is widely celebrated in Namangan.

In recent years, special attention has been paid to ensuring interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, further improving the atmosphere of friendship, and educating young people in the spirit of respect for national and universal values. Several measures are being taken in this regard.

The event “Our strength is in unity and solidarity”, organized in “Afsonalar Vodiysi” (Valley of Legends) Park, was also aimed at ensuring interethnic harmony.

Korean, Russian, Tajik, and Kyrgyz national cultural center representatives pleased the audience with their artistic and musical performances. The event also included exhibitions, a fashion and cooking show, which reflected the traditions and values of people of different nationalities.
