Uzbek State University of Physical Education and Sports hosted a meeting of the university leadership with a delegation led by Natalya Aponchuk, Chairperson of the Belarusian Olympic Academy.

The guests were introduced to the information and resource center, Kurash Hall, the winter sports simulation complex, the laboratory of the Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, the student dormitory, and the Sports Palace. 

Rector of the University Rashid Matkarimov informed about the work carried out in the country to train professional athletes, scientific research in sports education, the tasks facing specialists in organizing the Tashkent 2025 Games among youth, which will be held in Uzbekistan, the implementation of target programs developed to strengthen international cooperation.

The physical education and sports tasks, defined in several official documents signed between the two countries, were reviewed.
