The Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan I. Majidov noted that the main goal of reforms carried out at all stages of education in the country is to train highly professional and competitive personnel.
At the meeting with members of Acumen Education (United Kingdom), issues of strengthening partnership in higher education and personnel training with leadership qualities and high intellectual potential were discussed.
Issues of strengthening cooperation in higher education were discussed during the negotiations with representatives of Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture. It was noted that India’s higher education institutions began accepting documents from Uzbekistan citizens.
At the meeting with participation of South Korea’s Shinhan University representatives, issues of medical education were discussed in detail, in particular, strengthening partnership between the two countries in training qualified nurses and ensuring their employment.
Following the negotiations, prospects for further expansion of cooperation in education were identified.
