A delegation led by Tashkent region’s Hokim, Zoyir Mirzayev, is on a working visit to Russia.

The head of the region met with Vasily Finogeev, CEO of Krasny Mayak. The company, located in Yaroslavl region, is known for its high-tech projects in the agro-industrial complex and large-scale production infrastructure. The company successfully implements promising projects in vegetable growing and animal husbandry based on advanced intensive agricultural technologies, both at home and abroad.

The farm, established jointly with this agro-industrial enterprise in Tashkent region’s Piskent district, grows several varieties of cabbage using advanced methods. All products of the farm are exported. Active work is underway to expand the acreage and build a complex for growing potatoes and livestock products to meet the needs of the domestic market.

During the conversation, Z. Mirzayev spoke in detail about the potential of the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan, in particular, about the achievements of recent years that have become possible through the use of scientific methods aimed at increasing yields.

The prospects of the project being implemented in Tashkent region jointly with this company, the introduction of modern standards in agriculture, as well as the existing opportunities for the development of new areas, were discussed in detail at the meeting.

Representatives of Tashkent region’s delegation also held a meeting with the Governor of Ivanovo region, Stanislav Voskresensky.

During the conversation, Zoyir Mirzayev noted that Uzbekistan and Russia are bound by strong bonds of friendship, mutual trust, and strategic partnership, stressing that mutually beneficial relations between Tashkent region and the regions of Russia are developing rapidly.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish strong business ties, exchange experiences in healthcare, tourism, and the light industry, and implement joint projects.
