Tashkent region hosted a presentation as part of the Tourism and Cultural Heritage Days of France and Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by the heads of the Tourism Department of Tashkent region, representatives of large French companies in tourism and construction, local entrepreneurs, and specialists from partner organizations.

In districts of Tashkent region specializing in tourism, it is planned to build energy-efficient hotels and a ski resort based on French architecture.

A meeting was also held to create a design for joint eco-villages. The participants considered projects to introduce water- and energy-saving technologies in hotels planned for construction.

Business entities in the region’s tourism sector, notably the Uzumfermer winery and the tour operator Moon-Travel, have reached several agreements to enhance cooperation.
