A draft government resolution has been developed to launch a time and frequency standard (GLONASS and GPS) and introduce the “State Exact Time – UTC Uz” service to create an exact time service in the country.

Another important point is developing a draft strategy for creating a system to ensure the uniformity of measurements of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2024-2030, including long-term priority issues, goals, and objectives in metrology.

54 employees of the institute have improved their qualifications in leading metrological institutes in Türkiye, Germany, Italy, Moldova, Belarus, Korea, Austria, South Africa, Russia, Hungary, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
