An event dedicated to signing the National Agreement between the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the scientific company Elsevier (Netherlands) on access to SCOPUS and ScienceDirect international scientific bases was held in Tashkent.

The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education together with Elsevier company has developed a national development program “Science – 2020”. Its main goal is to increase the efficiency of scientific research activities of professors and teachers of higher education institutions, further expand the opportunities for access to world educational resources, electronic catalogs of modern scientific literature and scientific data.

Within the framework of the national development program, it is envisaged to include scientific journals of Uzbekistan in the international database systems SCOPUS and ScienceDirect, support young scientists and doctoral students in preparation and publication of scientific articles in prestigious publications.
