The first congress of the Central Asian Surgeons Ultrasound Society – CASUS 2024 was held at Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino.

About 300 experienced and young scientists working in various fields of surgery from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, South Korea, Mongolia, Türkiye, and Russia participated in the congress.

The participants comprehensively analyzed the possibilities of the widespread use of ultrasound research methods in modern surgery, and scientists exchanged experiences.

“The reports were devoted to new developments in the use of ultrasound in patient treatment, the definition of surgical tactics, and surgical methods”, says the Institute’s Rector, Shukhrat Teshayev.
