International Conference “Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan: Development prospects at a new historical stage of interaction” continues at the International Institute for Central Asia.

The IICA Director Anvar Nasirov and the Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiev addressed the event.

The first session was held on “New opportunities for sustainable development in the political and economic sphere”. Reports were heard by the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Shiri Shiriyev and the First Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akrom Nematov.
