International conference participants visit Samarkand
On September 21, participants of the International Conference “Central Asia in the system of international transport corridors: strategic perspectives and unrealized opportunities” visited the city of Samarkand.
On September 21, participants of the International Conference “Central Asia in the system of international transport corridors: strategic perspectives and unrealized opportunities” visited the city of Samarkand.
The guests first visited Uzbekistan – Germany joint venture JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan and the limited company UzAuto TRAILER in Jambay district, got acquainted with production buildings of factories.
Today, JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan, which was founded in 2009 in cooperation with Uzavtosanoat and the world famous German company Man Truck&Bus Group, produces more than 50 types of trucks and special equipment.
UzAuto TRAILER, founded in 2012, produces several types of trailers, KAMAZ trucks. They are currently supplied to domestic markets and abroad.
During the excursions to Amir Temur mausoleum, to Registan Square and other historical sites of Samarkand, the conference participants were provided with detailed information about the history of the country, great ancestors who made a great contribution to the world civilization, their spiritual heritage.
