An international scientific and practical conference on “Current issues of nuclear medicine and medical radiology: application and effectiveness of radiation therapy methods in tumor diseases” has begun at the Bukhara State Medical Institute.

The event is attended by about fifty professors, research scientists from more than twenty countries, and representatives of medical and educational institutions of Uzbekistan.

The conference aims to train highly qualified specialists in nuclear medicine and the use of nuclear technologies in diagnosing and treating several oncological, cardiological, neurological, and other socially significant diseases.

As part of the conference, scientists will make presentations and conduct masterclasses.
