An international conference on the international assessment and research of the quality of education was held at the initiative of the Ministry of Public Education, the Scientific Research Institute for the Study of Problems and Determining the Prospects of Public Education named after A. Avloni and the National Center for International Studies of Education Quality Assessment under the State Inspectorate for Supervision of the Quality of Education.
Over 100 countries, to objectively assess the quality of their education, are taking part in the international assessment studies PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS, TALIS, EGRA and EGMA. Uzbekistan has become a participant in these studies for the first time and is gradually participating in PISA and other educational assessment programs.
Over 100 videos within the STesting project are created and the Stesting platform is launched to prepare for the PISA, TIMSS and PIRLS education assessment programs by the Scientific Research Institute for the Study of Problems and Determining the Prospects of Public Education named after A. Avloni.

Representatives of international organizations and the government were provided with information on the results achieved and exchanged views on the effective organization of joint work.
The level of preparation for international evaluation research programs, the results achieved and the shortcomings, the results of research within the framework of the international evaluation programs EGMA, EGRA and PIRLS were discussed at the conference.
