Intergovernmental Agreement between Uzbekistan and Belarus enters into force
The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on Interregional Cooperation, signed during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Belarus, has entered into force, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The agreement promotes the expansion and development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of the two countries in trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres, agriculture, healthcare and environmental protection.
The document stipulates the agreement of the parties to promote the organization of direct tourist exchange between the regions, the implementation of joint programs and projects in tourism.
The competent authority for the implementation of this intergovernmental Agreement from the Uzbek side is the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
