Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuriddin Ismoilov met with delegation members led by Deputy President of the Dewan Negara (the Senate of the Malaysian Parliament) Nur Jazlan Mohamed.

At the meeting, which was held in a constructive spirit, the consistent development of bilateral relations and the intensification of political and economic dialogue between the countries in recent years were positively assessed.

Issues of enhancing and bringing inter-parliamentary cooperation to a new level and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties, including in education, information and communication technologies, culture, and sports, were discussed.

In turn, the Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Malaysian Parliament expressed gratitude for the warm welcome. He noted mutual interest in further enhancing and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on further developing and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation.
