Inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and France develops

A meeting was held with the Vice President of France – Central Asia inter-parliamentary friendship group, a member of the National Assembly of France Pierre Cabaré.
The deputy, highly appreciating the transformations in Uzbekistan, noted that the country’s leadership is implementing a deeply thought-out long-term program for reforming, democratizing and liberalizing society, fundamental structural changes and modernizing the country.
Pierre Cabaré expressed readiness to assist in development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and France, as well as expanding partnership between the regions of the two countries.

He informed on his upcoming visit to Uzbekistan on December 7-11, 2018 in order to study the radical and profound reforms and transformations initiated by the Head of the state that are of great interest to French scientific and social circles.
Within the framework of the visit, it is planned to organize meetings at the Senate, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other ministries and agencies, at “Uzbekcosmos” agency.
