The Institute of Botany of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan is the first in Central Asia to start publishing a botanical journal in English “Plant Diversity of Central Asia” (PDCA).
The journal has become a peer-reviewed international scientific publication, geographically focused on Central Asia. It publishes original research and review articles on the taxonomy, biogeography, evolution and conservation of plants, algae and fungi. Articles describing the results of scientific research in such areas as interspecies interactions, ecology of populations and communities will also be accepted for publication.
The first issue of the magazine was published in January 2022. All articles included in the journal are immediately posted on the official website of the publication (www.pdca.uz). Scientific articles comply with the standards of international journals and have a permanent digital object identifier (DOI) registered on the website of the registration agency www.doi.org.
The journal is registered and has international standard serial numbers for printed and electronic editions.
