The Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Uzbekistan held a conference on “Innovative approaches to improving access to affordable, quality preschool education in Uzbekistan”.

The Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Uzbekistan held a conference on “Innovative approaches to improving access to affordable, quality preschool education in Uzbekistan”.

Participants of the conference discussed ways of improving and expanding the system of preschool education through cooperation between the government and the private sector. Organizational issues and mechanisms for implementing public-private partnerships in Uzbekistan were reviewed. Recommendations were made on improving the educational and development environment in pre-schools. International experts presented the best global practices in the field.

It was noted that proposals and recommendations formed during the conference will serve to qualitative development of the sphere, further improvement of infrastructure and material-technical base of pre-schools.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan K.Akmalov delivered a speech at the conference.
