On September 11, an international forum on “Social innovations as important factor of advancement of society” was held in Tashkent.
The event is organized by the Development Strategy Center, the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Representative Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Uzbekistan to discuss issues of rapid development of essential sectors of the economy and social areas, the latest achievements in science, modern innovative ideas, developments and technologies.
Issues such as development of Innovative Development Strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2021, enhancement of effectiveness of scientific research and development, creation of effective mechanisms for integrating science, education and production, supporting social innovations in the healthcare sector were discussed at the sessions of the forum.
Following the event, views were exchanged on relevant issues, further tasks were outlined.
