INNOPROM. Central Asia International Industrial Trade Fair kicked off on April 25 at Uzexpocentre JSC, in Tashkent.
The event is aimed at promoting the latest technologies in the industry, establishing new business contacts, signing agreements and implementing new industrial cooperation projects.
About 200 foreign companies and over 1,300 individuals from France, Italy, the Netherlands, India and the CIS countries have been registered to enter into a constructive dialogue on the investment and economic potential of Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov took part in the plenary session on “Central Asia. The area of technological breakthrough”.
The main part of the event will feature such sections as metallurgy and materials, industrial automation, mechanical engineering and component production.
The business program of the fair includes over 20 specialized sessions on the current issues of the industrial agenda.
Participants will discuss the prospects of Central Asia as the area of technological breakthrough, as well as the investment and industrial potential of the countries of the region during panel sessions, roundtable discussions and business meetings.
Congresses and B2B meetings will be organized to cover a wide range of issues of bilateral and multilateral collaboration.
The exhibition presents 5 national expositions – Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, a joint stand of 8 regions of Russia, as well as products of 52 companies from France, Hungary, Italy, and other countries.
Lectures for young professionals and students will be held as part of the INNOPROM University Project. Heads of large industrial companies and rectors of leading universities will inform about modern production management methods.
The event will run until April 27th.
