16:07 / 2023-05-09

On May 8, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the heads of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis, political parties, judicial and executive authorities, and members of the public. In his speech, the Head of state analyzed the referendum results on the renewed Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Inna Korjikova expressed her opinion:

– The reforms implemented in our country in recent years have improved the living conditions of thousands of families and reduced the number of divorces. Young families were provided with material assistance and housing. These indicators confirmed the effectiveness of social programs carried out by our state.

Thanks to the support of the state, thousands of women have achieved high levels in various fields to establish entrepreneurial activities. As a result, they improved their standard of living.

More than 90 percent of our population voted to adopt the renewed Constitution. This is evidence that the people believe in the President and support the social policy pursued in our country.

The referendum is the constitutional basis of the life of our people, each family, a test of devotion to the Motherland in the name of a logical and consistent continuation of the initiated reforms. Today, another big step has been taken toward building New Uzbekistan.
