15:20 / 2025-09-27

The address delivered by the Head of State at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly became a significant event that inspired thousands of young people to develop new ideas.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation organized an event at the National University of Uzbekistan under the title “Uzbekistan – United Nations: Implementing Universal Goals”. The gathering brought together members of parliament, professors, and students. The event aimed to achieve a global objective – ensuring peace, sustainable development, and unity based on noble ideals.

It was noted that initiatives aimed at reducing poverty, expanding youth access to educational resources, and ensuring gender equality are crucial steps in both implementing domestic political reforms and fulfilling international commitments.

Young people expressed their support for the Head of State’s ideas that the future of peace and prosperity depends on the younger generation. They also supported the initiative to establish a World Youth Movement for Peace. A key task remains instilling in young people’s minds the principles of peace, humanism, friendship, mutual trust, and respect.

The initiatives of the Head of State will contribute to the implementation of new projects, the achievement of new goals, and the full realization of youth potential.
