Inha University in Tashkent hosted a forum on “IBM Technology Academy”. It was attended by representatives of foreign and local IT companies.

The event was organized by the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan, IBM and RRC companies.

As it was noted, introduction of modern technologies plays an important role in development of the economy, industry and social sphere of Uzbekistan. Many advanced developments are already actively used by domestic ministries and departments, which has made it possible to increase the efficiency of many industries.

Within two days, participants of the forum were presented, including employees of leading foreign companies, more than twenty presentations and reports on different areas and trends of the IT industry, possibilities of the latest computer and network equipment and their components.

Within the framework of the forum, experts became familiar with features of the latest models of server and computer components, functions and characteristics of processors on new “Power9” architecture, their features and differences from previous processor models. In addition, the latest technical developments in the sphere of cloud technologies and management of telecommunication networks were presented.

During the workshops, held in the laboratory, participants of the forum were offered to create an efficient corporate network, independently using the latest network equipment.

Following the event, features of modern software used in construction of secure telecommunications networks were discussed.
