A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Tashkent between the Directorate for the Management of Industrial Zones of Tashkent and the Shihezi Economic and Technological Development Zone of the People’s Republic of China.

The document defines priority areas for the development of practical cooperation.

In particular, the parties agreed to expand mutual trade and strengthen cooperation among residents of industrial zones, create a Chinese-Uzbek warehouse logistics base, and establish a Chinese-Uzbek exhibition center for the exchange of products. In addition, it is planned to develop regular business visits and collaborate to attract investments.

An agreement was also reached to expand trade volumes between industrial zones through information exchange and the introduction of advanced technologies.

This memorandum will help enhance Tashkent’s industrial potential, develop international cooperation, and implement new investment projects.
