Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov received the delegation led by the Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia Rachmat Gobel.

The meeting was attended by deputy chairmen of the Indonesian Parliamentary Committee, chief editors of the Indonesian television channel MetroTV, news agencies Kumparan and Beritasatu (NewsOne), as well as the Ambassador of Indonesia to Uzbekistan Sunaryo Kartadinata.

The parties paid main attention to the introduction by the government of Uzbekistan of a visa-free regime for citizens of Indonesia. At the request of the Indonesian side, detailed information was provided on the possibility of launching the UMRA + Uzbekistan program for Indonesian citizens before performing the Hajj and Umrah.

Rachmat Gobel thanked the Uzbek side for the willingness to raise collaboration to a higher level.
