The delegation of Spain’s Inditex visited the Association of Cotton and Textile Clusters of Uzbekistan.
The possibilities of joining Uzbekistan’s textile industry, in particular, cotton-textile clusters, to the global production chain were discussed.
There are 134 cotton-textile clusters in the system of the Association of Cotton and Textile Clusters of Uzbekistan, in which many investment projects for deep fiber processing are being implemented.

“The clusters cooperate with more than 40 international brands of the textile industry”, says the First Deputy Chairman of the Association of Cotton and Textile Clusters of Uzbekistan Sadulla Tadjiyev. – Among them there is the Zara brand, owned by the Inditex company. After the completion of the negotiations started this year, further expansion of cooperation is expected.
Inditex, which unites the brands Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Uterque, is one of the world-famous companies. It shows great interest in the Uzbekistan market.

Inditex representatives highly appreciated the work carried out in Uzbekistan to create decent working conditions and strengthen the social protection of workers and noted that they were interested in strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan in the cotton and textile industry.
