A delegation consisting of officials of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan and representatives of Andijan Regional Hokimiyat paid a working visit to India.
On the first day of the visit, views were exchanged with the Minister of External Affairs and the Minister of Culture of India on further developing bilateral cooperation, in particular, on improving the activities of museums, organizing various exhibitions, improving the skills of specialists in the sphere and implementing other joint projects.

According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at the meetings, the parties discussed issues of increasing the flow of Indian tourists to Uzbekistan. Several agreements were reached in this direction. In addition, the issue of opening direct flights from Indian cities to Andijan is on the agenda.

Talks were also held with the heads of the travel company Holiday Merchants, the marketing company PLUMM, the Indian Institute of Technology and the company Impact Infotech to increase the flow of tourists, organize promotional events, digitalize the sphere and scientific cooperation.
