Indian delegation visits Bukhara

On August 17, members of the delegation of the Republic of India – representatives of various companies and businessmen, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the regular meeting of Uzbekistan – India intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation, visited Bukhara.

On August 17, members of the delegation of the Republic of India – representatives of various companies and businessmen, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the regular meeting of Uzbekistan – India intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation, visited Bukhara.

The guests were received at the regional khokimiyat. First deputy khokim of the region F.Umarov dwelt on reforms implemented in various spheres, the created optimal investment environment for foreign investors. The guests were provided with information about the economic potential of the region, created on the basis of relevant resolutions of the President of the country the free economic zones “Gijduvan” and “Bukhoro-agro”. The guests got acquainted with activities of textile enterprises.

The Indian guests got acquainted with historical and cultural monuments and other sights of Bukhara.
