India’s Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery to implement joint projects in Uzbekistan

Deputy Chairman of the State Investment Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shamil Burnashev met with the Director of the Indian company Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery Chowdhury Ratan Singh.

Deputy Chairman of the State Investment Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shamil Burnashev met with the Director of the Indian company Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery Chowdhury Ratan Singh and other representatives of the company.

During the first official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to India, Uzqurilishmateriallari JSC and Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery signed an agreement on organizing production of modern concrete materials in the amount of about $3 million.

The investment project includes the construction in 2020 of a modern plant for production of new types of refractory, waterproof, insulating concrete wall slabs for the needs of the construction industry. The preliminary location of the modern production is the city of Bekabad.

In order to study the issues of further stage of the project implementation, on December 1-8, the delegation of Rising Hongfa Heavy Machinery visited Uzbekistan. During the working visit, meetings were organized with the leadership of the Ministry of Health, the Agency for Development of Pharmaceutical Industry, Uzqurilishmateriallari JSC, Uzmetkombinat JSC. The guest also visited Bekabad.

Following the meeting, the parties identified preliminary deadlines for discussing the results of marketing research and drawing up a business plan for the project.
