The Navoiy Regional council of the Milliy Tiklanish democratic party of Uzbekistan has conducted a forum on this topic.

The event held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the country’s independence was attended by members of the party’s faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan, active members of the party, deputies and students.

It has been said that under the leadership of the country’s President special attention is being paid to restoring national values, doing improvement work at sacred sites and places of pilgrimage and developing craftsmanship. This is an important factor in the younger generation developing well in every respect and in strengthening such feelings in them as respect for national and universal values and pride in the homeland.

Participants visited the Qosim Shaykh complex in Karmana District and looked at Kamolot apartments houses that had been built for young families in the district.

As part of the forum, a round table conversation was held at the district hokimiyat (governorate) on the subject of urgent tasks of forming an Internet culture among young people in the process of globalization.

“All the necessary conditions have been created in our country for young people to thoroughly learn modern knowledge and professions and to engage in sports,” says a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kozimjon Tojiyev.

Within the framework of the forum, an exhibition of prominent writers’ works, examples of craftsmen’s creative work and pictures by young artists was arranged.
