An exhibition “Contemporary art of wood carving. Author’s work” opened at International Caravanserai of Culture of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

About thirty works of woodcarving artists of the creative workshop “Status’O” of "Hunarmand" Association – Oleg Tolstopyatov, Ravshan Mahkamov, Aleksandr Seredin and Shavkat Yusupov are presented at the exhibition.



A coffee table "Flower fantasy", tray for fruit, lagan with national patterns, panels in national style, chess table and other carved products attract visitor’s attention.

An elegant round table, made in modern style is especially attractive among the exhibits. It was created by Ravshan Mahkamov and Oleg Tolstopyatov for six years. The surface of table is covered with glass, under it you can see images of birds carved in the tree, which are able to conquer any art lover with their grace and beauty.



– Our workshop has been working since 2015, – says head of “Status' O” creative workshop O.Tolstopyatov. – Masters and wood carvers are working in two groups. They are creating beautiful and various art works from ash, walnut and oak wood. Most importantly, products offered by our team are suitable for any interior.
