The First Transport Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is being held at Uzexpocenter.

The event includes the Aviation & Logistics Forum-2023 and the “TransLogistica Uzbekistan-2023” exhibition.

Within the framework of the forum, the following steps to develop international transport corridors and improve infrastructure will be determined. The main goal of holding the 12th meeting of the ministers of transport of the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization is to develop regional cooperation in trade and transport communications and enhance and strengthen cooperation.

Further strengthening collaboration between transport and communications serves not only the national interests of Uzbekistan, but also the economic development of all countries that are members of the Economic Cooperation Organization. The Tashkent Declaration is expected to be signed to support sustainable socio-economic development, reliable supply chains, and the development of the SCO region and intercontinental ties in the current geopolitical conditions.
