As of November 1, 2023, in Uzbekistan, the number of operating enterprises with foreign investment amounted to 13,019 units, of which 4,822 units are joint, and 8,197 units are foreign enterprises, the Statistics Agency reports.

Their number by economic sector is reflected in the following form:

In trade – 4 327 units.

In industry – 3 261 units.

In construction – 905 units.

In the information and communications industry – 768 units.

In the accommodation and food services industry – 488 units.

In agriculture, forestry, and fisheries – 478 units.

In the transportation and storage industry – 434 units.

In the healthcare and social services sector – 176 units.

In other types – 2 182 units.
