From January to October, 26.4 thousand Uzbekistan citizens went to study abroad.

According to the National Statistics Committee, compared to the same period last year, the number of students decreased by 6.1 thousand, or 18.9 percent. Most often, they go to study in Russia (5 863 people), Tajikistan (5 761 people), Kyrgyzstan (3 835 people), Korea (3 344 people), Türkiye (2 256 people), China (1 186 people), Kazakhstan (1 014 people), the UK (839 people), Germany (366) and the USA (318).
